What about trees on Crown Land within a conservation area that are not protected by a TPO?

If there are trees on Crown land that require works and are set in a conservation area, the Crown must give six weeks notice unless an exception applies or the Local Planning Authority has given consent.

Where work is carried out on a regular basis, the local authority and the appropriate authority of the Crown should consider using a section 211 notice.
