Principal Designer

He is responsible for Health and Safety during the pre-construction phase.

Principal Contractor

He is responsible or Health and Safety during the construction phase.

If the appointment of the Principal Designer is finished before completion of the project, he is also responsible for finalising the Health & Safety file and handing it over to the client.
