The only types of permitted works that do not require prior consent from the Local Planning Authority, are associated with one of the following categories:
- Permitted Development; (when the development is not fully or partially within a designated area, otherwise an Article 4 Direction may be in place)
- Moving between similar Use Classes.
Even though a development may full within any of the above areas of permitted works, it is always advised to check with the LPA before starting ant construction works.
