Planning permission provides consent to development which might be partially, fully or not at all within a designated area and does not require any work/modifications to buildings included in the development boundary.
If there are requirements for works on listed buildings, typical planning consent does not cover the applicant and further consent is required. This is covered by the Listed Buildings Consent which is provided by the Local Planning Authority.
