What is the Date of Practical Completion?

The Date of Practical Completion is the date set and agreed between the Client and the Contractor, that all works under the contract will be completed. The Contractor is expected to meet that date, otherwise Liquidated & Ascertained Damages would have to be paid to the Client for late delivery of the site.

If for any unforeseeable reason the Contractor cannot meet this date, an extension of time will be requested with a robust justification describing why the extension should be granted by the Client. If the extension of time is provided the Contract Administrator will amend the Date of Practical Completion to reflect the requested extension.
